Monday, April 30th: The 48th Annual Nina Mae Kellogg Awards CeremonyJoin the English Department in celebrating the achievements of our student writers. This year features a reading by Junot Díaz, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. Thursday, May 3rd: Growing Forward: A New Vision for Food and Farming in AmericaThe Environmental Science and Management Department presents Curt Ellis, co-producer of the Peabody-winning documentary King Corn, from 6:30pm - 7:30pm in SMSU 327/328. Wednesday, May 30th: Making Light of MathematicsThe Annual Fariborz Maseeh Department of Mathematics + Statistics Lecture welcomes guest lecturer Professor Sir Michael Berry, Department of Physics at Bristol University. Friday, June 1st: The Maggot in the Apple: Peaceful Coexistence of Incompatible TheoriesProfessor Sir Michael Berry is also the guest lecturer for the Physics Department's Annual Mark Gurevitch Memorial Lecture Series.
