Communications Student Dreams of a Career in Media, Lands Internship with Sesame Street in NYC

This summer, Zanele earned an internship with Sesame Street, where she helped research literacy programs for beginning readers in Bangladesh. Read the full story here.

From the Streets to the Classroom: Alumnus Mitchell Jackson Publishes Book Inspired by Portland

Mitchell Jackson's '99 MA '02 first novel, The Residue Years, tells a story inspired by his own life growing up in a drug-fueled neighborhood of Northeast Portland.
